PedN will give a safe and visible place to locate your iPod on your desk or other platform, while keeping your cable at your convenience (not on the floor).
Using your standard sync cable or other iPod typical connector (as supplied by apple with your iPod or other types, like Sik din) is required to attach to the PedN.
