I got this product so I don't have to continually hand hold my iPad Mini or support it some other uncomfortable way to view it. I like to sit back on my couch and have the iPad directly in front of my eyes. The flexible coil works great on a flat surface but on my couch I twist the coil 90 degrees, insert it in between the seat cushions, adjust it for the best view - then relax
